An evening of exploring, dissecting and adapting some of William Shakespeare’s best loved plays for a new audience. Why not have a go at designing a set for Romeo and Juliet in space, or rewriting Lady Macbeth’s monologue in modern language? How about some costumes for A Midsummer Night’s Dream set in the disco era of the 1970s? The possibilities are endless!

Taking inspiration from recent professional adaptations and Echo Youth Theatre’s own Shakespeare productions, find out why the stories told in William Shakespeare’s plays are unlimited in the ways in which we can tell them.

Kate has been assistant director on a number of Echo’s past shows, including A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Macbeth.
